May Challenge- Anything Goes

Anything goes:
is the theme for this months challenge at Whimsy Stamps.
Well great to see you back. The sun is shining I can hear lawn mowers going. What a wonderful sound. I'm glad that the weather has finally gotten better. Everyone was sure sick of the spring snow that kept coming. I do believe that summer is just around the corner. YAHHHH!
I made this super cute card using an image from Scrappers Delight from Whimsy Stamps. It's called Baby Boo Bear Blankie - I used the girl image but there is also a boy one. I have this wonderful paw punch that I used to make the borders on the edges. I am very happy with the way this card turned out. It just went together so easy, like I had a puzzle in my mind
I'm looking forward to seeing all the lovely creations that will be put up on the Whimsy inspires blog ( click here to jump to the challenge blog to look or enter your creation)
This is a adorable wood button from Prima Marketing that says Hello.
The corner arrangement of flowers also from Prima.
Supplies: My Minds Eye patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock, EK paw border punch, Martha Stewart leaf punch, Prima Marketing flowers & wood button, copic markers, distress ink, Offray ribbon, Zva pearls.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

April 30 Millie card

Well last day of April!
You would think that the weather would try to be nice to us.... but not yet. It's cold outside and there are a few snowflakes still floating around. I'm hoping that is all that happens. We don't really want any staying on the ground.
It's been busy around my house lately, lots of running. My siblings and I are planning a 50th anniversary party for my parents this summer. That has consumed a lot of my time lately. I finally got all the invitations made and in the mail, so now I might have a little less to do.
I have been coloring lots of images now I just have to finish putting my cards together.  There are lots of new great images for May coming out for Whimsy Stamps... make sure you stop by tomorrow for our monthly blog hop. You will love all the new digis. I have made this card a few days ago but never got it put up.
This is a card made using a great image from Lia Stampz called Millie. I thought that I would try a different color scheme. It just turned out to be purple and yellow. The sentiment is a rubber stamp set and the corner dies are from Whimsy Stamps as well. I am really pleased with how this card turned out. I hope that you get inspired to make a card today.

Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, Graphic 45 patterned paper, Zva pearls colored with copic markers to match the paper, Birthday letter seals & corner die set from Whimsy Stamps, Offray ribbon, distress ink.

April 19 Baby Boo Dragon

Welcome!
Glad to see you, welcome back if you have been on my blog before and if  this is the first time that you've stopped by.... I'm hoping that you will enjoy my blog.
This is my inspiration card that I put together for this weeks post. This little image is from a new designer at Whimsy Stamps. The image is called Baby Boo Dragon Long Hair from Scrapper's Delights Paper Crafts. Isn't the she cute. I loved coloring and putting together this card. The colors purple and green work really well with the color that I used on the image. This card also came together very easy. Sometimes you struggle and just know that your project is missing something and other times it fits together beautifully. Well this one was great to work on. I hope that you get inspired today to create something wonderful.  I know that I will.

April 15 Pretty in Pink

I smell Spring!
That is the name of this adorable digi  from Whimsy Stamps from designer Crissy Armstrong.  I am actually not sure if I smell spring here in Alberta after the storm on the weekend, we got a terrible amount of snow again. I sure am hoping that spring will finally arrive sooner than later. I have actually been in a pink mood I guess my last couple cards have been pink. Great color though. That is the theme on the Whimsy Challenge blog right now. So if you have created a card or project with pink then you should definitely add it to the challenge blog ( click here to jump to the Whimsy challenge blog). For a chance to win some really terrific digital images.
This is my inspiration card for this week.

April 9 inspiration card

Welcome back, great to see you.
I know I never got my post up last week. Things have been a little crazy with me the last week or so. The days are a blurr it seems not enough hours in the day. I've had alot on my plate and trying to keep up can sometimes get to you after a while. So I finally got into my scrapbook room and was able to sit and create some cards. I've gotten quite a few done so I'm planning on posting twice this week to help with my absence last week. I guess enough about my full days I'm sure yours are the same. That's why it's important to sit back and really make time for the things that you enjoy or you will never have the time. and life will just pass you by.

March 28 Easter post

Happy Easter!
Well tomorrow is Good Friday already, wow time is flying this week. I hope that you have a fabulous holiday weekend with family and or friends. The weather here is fabulous, not sure if it's going to stay or not but summer is right around the corner.
My weekend will be a quiet on I think, but I certainly don't mind.
For my post this week , I decided to step out of the box, I mostly do card or tags etc. Never scrapbook layouts. Well I decided to do an Easter scrapbook layout. I am actually working on a album for my parents, Their 50 th wedding anniversary is this summer. So my mom and I have been going through pictures, I found a lot of great pictures. I have to go visit and get more pictures,  I'm really looking forward. Going to visit, talk about pictures and visiting  with my parents was wonderful.
Here is my page, it was my first Easter I was only 3 months old. That was a long time ago.
I colored and used  the image Happy Little Bunny from Whimsy Stamps by Stamp Art Design. I loved this image and it fit really well with layout and was fun to color. I hope that this will inspire you to create today if not have a wonderful day any ways and Happy Easter.

My colored image... adorable.
